A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he subsequently trained in Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Family Medicine, With Board Certification in the latter two fields. Since 1975, he has instructed students at the University of Miami School of Medicine as Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy and Deparment of Family Medicine
