DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL:

Teaches pathophysiology, mechanisms of disease and clinical reasoning hand-in-hand in a brief, clear, highly practical book for medical students preparing for the clinical years, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health practitioners. Includes clinical cases and a CD-ROM (Mac/Win, available as a download) teaching the differential diagnosis of common lab tests and patient symptoms and signs and the pathophysiological mechanisms behind the diagnoses. Excellent Board review (e.g. USMLE Step 1, NCLEX-RN).
